Processing Timeframes
At Dakinaa, we understand that receiving your fine jewelry promptly is important. Here’s what to expect when you place an order with us:
Standard Orders
- Processing Time: 5 business days after receiving cleared payment and any necessary size confirmation
- Business Days: Monday through Friday, excluding weekends and holidays
- Order Confirmation: You will receive an email confirmation once your order is processed
Custom Orders
- Design Confirmation: 2-3 business days to review and confirm your design specifications
- Production Time: 10-15 business days for creation after design approval
- Quality Control: 1-2 business days for final inspection before shipping
Ready-to-Ship Items
Select items marked as “Ready to Ship” will be processed within 1-2 business days.
Shipping Methods & Carriers
Dakinaa ships worldwide from our offices in the USA and our manufacturing unit in India. We partner with reputable carriers to ensure safe delivery of your precious items.
Domestic Shipping (United States)
- Standard Shipping: 3-5 business days transit time
- Expedited Shipping: 2-3 business days transit time
- Overnight Shipping: Next business day delivery (where available)
International Shipping
- Standard International: 7-14 business days transit time
- Express International: 3-7 business days transit time
All shipments include tracking information and insurance for the full value of your purchase.
Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated based on your location, selected shipping method, and order value:
- Free Shipping: Orders over $1,000 qualify for free standard shipping within the United States
- Domestic Standard: $15-$25 depending on destination
- Domestic Expedited: $25-$45 depending on destination
- International Standard: $35-$75 depending on destination
- International Express: $55-$95 depending on destination
Exact shipping costs will be calculated and displayed during checkout before payment is finalized.
Tracking Your Order
Once your order ships:
- You will receive a shipping confirmation email with your tracking number
- You can track your package through our website’s “Order Status” section
- Shipping updates will be available through the carrier’s tracking system
Delivery Information
Signature Required
All Dakinaa jewelry shipments require an adult signature upon delivery. Please ensure someone is available to sign for your package or consider shipping to a location where reception is available.
Delivery Address
- We ship to the address provided during checkout
- We cannot redirect packages once they have been shipped
- Please verify your shipping address before finalizing your order
- We do not ship to P.O. boxes for orders valued over $500
Estimated Delivery Dates
Delivery dates provided are estimates and not guarantees. While most orders arrive within the expected timeframe, various factors may affect actual delivery timing.
International Orders
For customers ordering from outside the United States:
Customs & Import Duties
- You may be subject to import duties, taxes, and fees
- These charges are not included in the purchase price or shipping cost
- Payment of these charges is your responsibility
- We cannot mark packages as “gifts” to avoid customs fees
International Shipping Restrictions
Some countries have restrictions on importing jewelry or precious metals. Please check your local customs regulations before placing an order. We cannot be responsible for packages seized or delayed by customs.
Shipping Delays
Occasionally, shipments may experience delays due to:
- Customs processing for international orders
- Weather conditions or natural disasters
- Carrier service disruptions
- High volume periods (holidays, etc.)
We will communicate any known delays and work with you to resolve any issues that arise.
Undeliverable Packages
If a package is returned to us as undeliverable:
- We will contact you to verify your shipping information
- We can reship the package for an additional shipping fee
- If we cannot contact you or the package is refused, a 10% restocking fee may apply
Missing or Lost Packages
If your tracking information shows delivery but you have not received your package:
- Contact the carrier first to file a claim
- Notify us at [shipping@dakinaa.com] within 48 hours of the scheduled delivery date
- We will initiate an investigation with the shipping carrier
- Once the investigation is complete, we will either replace the item or process a refund
All shipments are insured for the full value of your purchase.
